Wendy Biro-Pollard is an expert volunteer developer and seasoned speaker with more than twenty-five years of high profile local, regional and national experience. She directed the Volunteer Center of Austin, Texas, supported volunteer activities throughout a 30-county region for the Texas Department of Human Services and managed volunteers for the Austin-Travis County Health Department. For 10 years, Wendy created and managed a Volunteer work force equivalent to 34-full time employees at St. David's Medical Center in Austin.

She was selected as Outstanding Newcomer by the Texas Public Health Association and Outstanding Volunteer Coordinator by Directors of Volunteers in Austin (DOVIA).

Wendy has volunteered on numerous non-profit boards. She served as President for the Texas Association, Directors of Volunteer Services, and recently completed a two-year term as a board member for the American Society of Directors of Volunteer Services-an affiliate of the American Hospital Association.

Wendy is now a full-time volunteer management consultant available for daylong retreats, workshops, phone and e-mail coaching, and on-going consultation support.
