Viki has been named one of "100 Women Who Make A Difference in Chicago" by Today?s Chicago Woman. In the past 20 years, as a professional and as a volunteer, she has helped raise well over $2,000,000 for such diverse Chicago-area nonprofit organizations as Chicago House, Stop AIDS Chicago, Bonaventure House, Douglass-Tubman Youth Ministries, and City Lit Theatre Company. She was a founding board member of the League of Chicago Theatres, and Chicago Area Technical Assistance Providers (now Association of Consultants to Non profits).
Since 1995, Viki has held leadership positions in the direct selling industry, first with DKFL, and since 2000 with Usborne Books at Home. She has won numerous sales awards, ranking in the top 7 nationally in school sales for Usborne since 2003. Her training seminars, conducted at regional and national UBAH conferences, have inspired and energized hundreds. Viki is most proud of the impact she has had on other Usborne consultants.
Her colleagues in business and volunteering will tell you that Viki has a reputation for giving, so the principles of To Lead is to Serve and To Lead is to Empower are a natural for her.
