As a lifelong volunteer, Janet Plathe has over 20 years of experience in leading organizations. Janet believes one key to organizational success is strong meeting attendance. Janet took one group from a meeting attendance of 20% to 90% in a four month period of time.

Introduced to the principles of To Lead is to Serve in 1998, Janet has found even more joy in her personal leadership experience by truly serving others. As an accomplished speaker, Janet is prepared to inspire your membership with the simple, but not easy, philosophy of To Lead is to Serve. Janet can help your organization with:

• Creating a culture of positive attitudes

Janet serves as Executive Director for Leadership Siouxland and provides consulting services for the Siouxland Human Investment Partnership as planning coordinator for a comprehensive county-wide plan. This year she will serve as the President for the Junior League of Sioux City.
