Cathy Herzog has directed over 3000 volunteers for 25 organizations.
As the owner of a training facilitating business targeted toward non-profits, she works with organizations in volunteer development, strategic planning, fundraising and board development.
Cathy recently moved to Oklahoma. She is a native Texan, who lived in Odessa for 25 years where she was elected to the City Council. She sat on the Boards of the Junior League of Odessa as Sustainer Advisor, First United Methodist Church as Vice-Chair, State Employees Charitable Campaign, Communities in Schools and LINKS. Her past involvement is also extensive including President of Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale (MOSC) and extensive volunteer work with United Way, Girl Scouts of the Permian Basin, Permian Basin Rehabilitation Center(PBRC), Odessa Chamber of Commerce and Red Cross of Southwest Texas.
Cathy has been honored as a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts and Volunteer of the Year by PBRC and MOSC. Cathy recently joined an international team from Canada and the US trained to present To Lead Is To Serve. The ideas in To Lead Is To Serve mirror Cathy's personal philosophy.
