Beth Ramsay creates a culture where people matter. Beth works with businesses and organizations that want to improve morale, staff/membership retention, discover a unity in purpose and a renewed satisfaction in their service or work. Combining this philosophy with the simplicity and power of the principles behind To Lead is to Serve, your leaders and volunteers will find fresh meaning in the service they offer, and a renewed appreciation and commitment to the community they serve.

The Junior League of Fort Myers enjoyed the benefits of Beth's expertise during her term as President when she increased the number of new members by 367% in just two years! She also simplified the multi-layered and repetitive levels of meetings and decision-making of the leadership structure, which resulted in a unanimous membership vote to update/modify 8 Bylaws, and 27 Policies that enabled volunteer leaders to be less mired in bureaucracy and more productive with their time. This allowed current members to achieve new levels of focus and direction, increased sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in their volunteer work.

A boost of positive energy, inspired volunteer service and personal development are just a few of the benefits that Beth has to offer. Clients say her insightful, motivational, and humorous presentations and trainings have given their employees and volunteer members a new sense of direction, understanding, and purpose.

It's vital to create a culture where people matter!

Beth's strong interest in volunteer leadership comes from over 13 years as a community volunteer and more than 25 years leadership/management experience in working with over 2,000 people. Her love and deep roots in volunteering is based in her years with the Junior League. Having served as the President, a member of the Board of Directors six times, the Executive Committee three times as well as numerous times on various Councils, Beth fully understands the challenges leaders face when assembling a productive team to develop and agree on goals and plans, and finding the motivation to achieve them.

Beth also served as the Christmas Seal Ball Chairman for her local community's chapter of the American Lung Association, which resulted in the highest net profit of any fund raiser to date for that chapter.

Among other volunteer activities, Beth has served on the United Way Campaign Committee; served as co-chair for the Florida/Georgia Lutheran Schools Music Festival; and for the past two years has enjoyed reaching out to school children to teach them about personal finance and global economies through the Junior Achievement program.

Recognized in 2001 by the Eckerd Corporation's 4th annual Salute To Women Program for outstanding volunteer efforts in her community, Beth continues to draw on her extensive experience from 20+ years in customer service, business management and ownership; her years as a corporate trainer in the hospitality industry and nearly 20 years of professional speaking and training to deliver her inspiring programs.
