Arline Oberst is the co-author of Chicken Soup for the Volunteer's Soul.

Professionally, Arline has been a spokesperson for Prevent Child Abuse - New Jersey, as well as the Volunteer Coordinator. She is a former owner and director of a large Day Care Center, and is now the President of her own training and speaking company Lifetime Resources for Women, Inc.

For the past ten years, Arline has worked closely with Jack Canfield creator of the Chicken Soup Series. In 1997 she conferred with Jack and Mark Victor Hansen on the idea of a volunteer book to add to the series.

Arline has developed and customized programs for audiences and presents the programs in a warm, wise and dynamic manner. She has been a much sought after presenter for state and national conferences.

Arline is passionate about her work and inspires others to seek out their passion and zest for life. Using humor, interactive exercises, inspirational true stories, she educates and entertains with a powerful message.

Arline is a member of the National Speakers Association and a certified To Lead Is To Serve trainer.
